The Greater Atlanta area has a lot to offer to new home buyers.  Despite the economic downfall beginning in 2008 Atlanta has continued to thrive with its most valuable resources; the people.  While many years of rising prices and transitional neighborhoods were stopped in their tracks, the in-town markets were filled with speculators and home flippers (as seen on HGTV).  Good homes were hard to find and buyers paid a hefty premium for their dream of homeownership.  Many newer subdivisions have been hit hard as well.
