East Lake Real Estate is located just inside the eastern border of the City of Atlanta and is a thriving residential community.  It offers, small town mixed-income families a place to live and work.  The revitalization of East Lake began around 1993 with organizations like East Lake Neighbors Community Association  getting together with the community.

East Lake entertainment for the entire family has a fairly new website at Atlanta PlanIt. This site was created by Metropolitan Atlanta Arts and Culture Coalition (MAACC)  to help support the vibrant growth. Also for the kids is a terrific after school center known as the East Lake Family YMCA  with a large facility of sports programs and other fun things to do.

Weather  in the area has cooler months in November thru January and the hottest time of year is August with temperatures reaching the mid 90´s. One of the greatest attractions is the East Lake private Golf Club and the Charlie Yates Golf Course  located in East Lake and is a Par 58, mid length course. This course has a great view of the Atlanta skyline.

Shopping around East Lake is made easy by the newest shopping Mall at Stone Crest. A few miles from East Lake is the North Dekalb Mall with is the closest and the Lenox Square Mall is the largest.
