Georgia Public Broadcasting´s nine public television stations deliver quality PBS and locally produced programming to every county in Georgia, and to significant portions of surrounding states.
In addition to PBS favorites like Antiques Roadshow, Masterpiece Theatre, and children’s series like Clifford and Sesame Street – over 3,000 hours a year of non-violent, commercial-free children’s programming – GPB is also known for creating quality television programs that celebrate our local culture and history, and examine the issues and news of the day. GPB’s local television productions include weekly series like Georgia Outdoors, Georgia Week In Review and Georgia Business Report, and award-winning documentaries like Georgia's Civil War, Peachtree Street and The Secret Seashore: Georgia's Barrier Islands and – coming in the Fall of 2004 – The Fabulous Fox, the story of Atlanta’s Fox Theatre as it celebrates its 75th year. Georgia Public Broadcasting also presents live television and web broadcasts of the Georgia High School Football Championships and the Georgia High School Boys and Girls Basketball Championships.
